York Profiling by Plowman Brothers are specialists in mass, batch and bespoke production of profiled components.

We offer a variety of profiling services including Water Jet and Plasma; this enables us to offer a tailored solution appropriate to you.

The most versatile of our fully automated CNC profiling machines is our Water Jet which is capable of cutting metal or any material up to 200mm thick into high definition shapes. It is commonly used in the aerospace, automotive and architectural industries along with some military applications. Manufacturers and engineers are fast realising the benefits and diversity that Water Jet cutting offers, making it one of the fastest growing major tool processes in the world.

Our twin headed Water Jet gives us the versatility to produce components for either trial or mass production in the majority of industries. We cut everything from specialised metal parts for use in heavy industrial machinery through to intricate designs used in shop fitting and other design based industries.

York Profiling also offer a skilled and fully experienced in-house design team who are available to advise and assist you from the initial idea through to the final product. They are able to work from any DXF or DWG files you may have, otherwise we can work from jpegs, sketches and samples. We will cut metal to your precise specifications.

Our services also include CNC bending, drilling, milling, turning, welding and fabrication, specialising in mild Steel, aluminium and stainless steel. We also offer punching, rolling and shearing facilities.
